Company Picnic
Thomas’ company had their annual spring family picnic last weekend. We had a blast. Thomas helps organize it, so it was especially kid-friendly this year, complete with bounce houses and clowns. The clowns weren’t so scary and not in their full garb, so the kids were not afraid of them for long. Sugar especially enjoyed getting her face painted. Of course, Thomas had to join in the action. Yes, he was the only adult with his face painted besides the clowns.

In my home church we would have festivals every year. For some reason i was always nominated to be the face painter. But I’m horrible at it! Just terrible! One year a little boy asked for a basket ball. I obliged and felt pretty good about my efforts- until he looked at it in the mirror- and very politely asked if I could wash it off! Oh man- that is hilarious to think about! Your face painter seems to actually have talent!
